Dwaine Francis

Raised on a farm, Dwaine graduated with honors in engineering from the University
of Nebraska. After interning with John Deere in college, he rose to manager, facility engineering.
Dwaine joined a national search firm in 1974. As a managing partner, Dwaine
helped grow the firm to 10 offices with 33 professionals. In 1983, Francis & Associates opened its doors with Dwaine at the helm.

Kay Francis

A Midwesterner, Kay attended Parsons College in Fairfield, Iowa. She worked for
several companies, including Sylvania Electric, Hy-Vee Food Stores, Monsanto and Stanley Consultants.
In 1978, Kay became the research director for the Des Moines, Iowa office of
a national search firm. Five years later, she and Dwaine Francis created Francis & Associates.

Karen Novak

A lifelong Des Moines, Iowa resident, Karen graduated from the University of Iowa,
working part-time for Francis & Associates while in college.
Upon
graduation, Karen worked for an office supply company before returning to Francis & Associates as a consultant in 1987.
